MEWO Shopping Bag is made of leftover pieces of cloth from sewing factories. Usually, leftover pieces of cloth are thrown away as useless, so we have purchased and recycled them to create a tote bag of an original design. All manufacturing processes are done in a traditional commercial-industrial area in Tokyo where small businesses are clustered. We will continue to manufacture the MEWO Shopping Bag in small lots and on an irregular basis in cooperation with small factories while making changes in its design and materials as necessary.
