Japanese hand stencil dyed Christmas cards.
Each card is dyed by hand with a brush on handmade Japanese paper by craftsmen using stencils that were hand-engraved before the early Showa period, and the patterns are all different as they are made from large paper stencils for Kimonos. The reverse side is printed with letterpress printing.

手差し型染のクリスマスカード。
昭和初期以前に手彫りされた型紙を用いて、職人の手により手漉き和紙に1枚ずつ刷毛で手染めされており、反物用の型紙を使用しているため柄の出方がすべて異なるデザインになっています。裏面は活字活版印刷。
