A research residency on the sidelines of the first 'Design Award' by the Embassy of France in Japan x Mobilier national, which Emi Endo won in 2023.

She spent a month in Paris visiting various workshops of the Mobilier national and conducting research for the realisation of her own design project.
She engaged in dialogue with the craftsmen and weavers of the Atelier de Recherche et de Création, as well as the artisans of the restoration workshops, who work in furniture making, chair making, bronze chandeliers, carpet and tapestry restoration, upholstery and tapestry decoration.

2023年に遠藤が受賞した、在日フランス大使館×モビリエ・ナショナルによる第1回「デザイン賞」の副賞のリサーチレジデンス。

パリに1ヶ月滞在し、モビリエ・ナショナルの持つ様々な工房を訪問しながら、自身のデザインプロジェクトの実現に向けたリサーチを行いました。

アトリエ・ド・ルシェルシュ・エ・ド・クレアシオン（Atelier de Recherche et de Création – ARC –）の職人や機織職人たち、さらに家具製造、椅子製造、ブロンズシャンデリア、絨毯やタペストリー修復、椅子張り、タペストリー装飾を行う修復工房の職人たちとの対話を重ねました。
